Samtal: ”Climate Talks” på Goetheinstitutet – i skärningspunkten mellan det hyperlokala och planetära

Goetheinstitutet i Stockholm erbjuder ett späckat program där deltagarna i ‘Climate Talks’ delar erfarenheter och tillsammans utforskar hur berättelser om världen håller på att omformas i skuggan av de pågående klimatförändringarna. Vilka berättelser låter oss samla kraft för att göra det som är nödvändigt? Samtalen kommer att kretsa kring klimatet som ett känslomässigt, holistiskt och konstnärligt narrativ. Janna Holmstedt, forskningsledare för Humus economicus, ingår i panelen ”Climate as Holistic Narrative”. Hon kommer tala om jordade städer och laddade platser i skärningspunkten mellan det hyperlokala och planetära i sitt bidrag ”The Hyperlocal and the Planetary, Finding the Knotted Sites”.

Climate Talks är del av projektet ‘Weather Glass or Crystal Ball? Mapping the Weather in Arts and Science’, ett interdisciplinärt forskningsprojekt – i samarbete mellan Goethe Institute Stockholm och LABLAB – med publika händelser i Glasgow, Oslo, Köpenhamn och Stockholm från hösten 2020 till december 2021.
