Meet Anthropogenic Soils – A Science-Humanities-Arts Collaboratory on Soil Care in Contaminated Times
Meet our collaborators Anthropogenic Soils at Oslo School of Environmental Humanities! This amazing collaboratory focuses on practices and understandings of remediation and soil repair in response to historical and contemporary concerns about soil health. Anthropogenic Soils brings together scholars, practitioners, and artists to develop new research questions and interdisciplinary methodologies for the study of soils in the Anthropocene. Principal investigators at University of Oslo, Norway, are Daniel Münster and Ursula Münster. Visit their website to learn more.
Together with another thriving network, the Soil Care Network, we are organizing Soils as Sites of Emergency and Transformation, a three-day workshop at the Nordic Environmental Social Science Conference (NESS) conference, 7-9th June 2022. Collaboration and generosity makes the world go around.
